Lisa Racina is the daughter of one of the newest residents of Las Ventanas. Her mother, Marilyn Greenburg, had been living in Cleveland, Ohio, for all of her life. However, Lisa became concerned about her earlier this year when some health issues began making it harder for her to live life to its fullest. At that point, they both decided it would be best if she moved to Las Vegas to be close to Lisa. “I live in Summerlin and I wanted mom to be close,” said Lisa. “When I started educating myself about retirement communities and looking at the different models, it became clear that there was no competition because nobody else offers Independent Living as well as every other level of care. Las Ventanas is definitely the best choice.”

Marilyn has been at Las Ventanas for only a couple months, and she and Lisa both feel great about their decision. “It’s a really therapeutic environment,” said Lisa. “Mom is happy and positive and making lots of friends. She loves Las Vegas, the apartment is gorgeous and it’s clear that everyone who works there really cares. We have nothing but positive things to say about the entire experience.”
